How long do you let your car warm up in the winter?

With winter fast approaching and the temperatures dipping below freezing for many of us comes the time of year when you often see cars idling in the parking lot.

Although it may seem like a waste of gas (sometimes it is), there is a good reason for letting your car warm-up before driving it, especially in the winter.
Giving your car some time to warm up allows all the fluids to make their way through the engine to ensure your engine is properly lubricated. Failing to let your engine properly warm up can lead to loose or cracked seals and eventually more serious issues.
