New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will propose a ban on Styrofoam. "After all, we can live without it. We may live longer without it. And the doggie bag will survive just fine," the text of Bloomberg's speech says.
According to Mayor Bloomberg's logic, we should ban the things we don't need and may indirectly cause some nuisance. Look forward to Mayor Bloomberg banning: salt, boomboxes, perfume, deodorant, anti-establishment hip-hop, pets, gum-chewing (don't laugh, they did it in Singapore), and other pieces of freedom that make us human.
